Thank you to the exhibitors for such a super entry with some really lovely dogs to judge. Thank you to the committee for a lovely day and to Colin my steward who did a sterling job to ensure the ring was run well and we finished at a reasonable hour.

1st V Endean – Neerodan Light My Fire
10 month old dog, well structured head, ears set well, nice eye, good length of neck, correct lay of shoulder, well bodied, good quarters, held top line, moved well, very close for BP
2nd Snell & Rose – Moretonia Snow Respect
Powderpuff, looking a fraction too long at the moment, moved ok, but not as settled as one.
3rd Mrs Snell – Flames of Gold At Moretonia

4 yr old gold & white, good head, correct length of neck, well sprung ribs, well presented , moved soundly.

Black & white bitch 11 month old, daughter of first, feminine head, good length of neck into nicely laid shoulders, well bodied, good quarters, moved soundly

Sabe & white 17 month old, good eye, pleasing head used ears well with good fringes, held top line and moved well, a fraction light of weight but as a teenager to be expected, just preferred his type to his kennel mate for BOB
2nd Miss Orchard – Panspayon Page
Black & white 10 month old bitch, nice overall type, moved well when she settled.
3rd Mrs Hamblin – Judaham Bobby Dazzler
Another nice Junior dog but needing much more weight a shame as I liked him

18 months old dog, similar applies but a fraction loose in front.

The chi’s were difficult to access as most were not moving at their best and this played a greater part in my placements on the day.

1st BP Mrs Cottle – Chindino Silver Belle At Cattellindo
Red & white 9 month old bitch, pretty head but perhaps not quite the dome required, good neck, well constructed bitch which showed in her movement which was very sound and accurate and she had a happy disposition.
2nd Mrs Copsey – Cholas Dixie Dazzler of Chidino
Looked to be my winner when she came in to the ring, she is a lovely type but just not moving as true in front.

Red sable, good head and pigment, correct balance, the most settled in class.

Loved this dog but just not as settled on the day
3rd, BP Miss & Mr Williams & Loosley – Ormestex Princess
8 month old , pleasing type, good head, just needs to settle on the move but a baby yet.

There were some nice puppies in this class who lacked confidence on the day.

10 month old black & tan bitch, pleasing head, nice eye, soft expression, good bite, well set ears, reasonable length of neck, nicely bodied, held top line, sound free movement, never stopped wagging her tail, beating her slightly less confident sister for BP who was 3rd in next class
2nd Mesd Long – Clockpelters Annie Lennox At Arroline
Ruby, another nice young puppy less finished than 1
3rd Mrs Walton – Underknoll Ray of Light

12 month old Blenheim dog, super head & expression, correct length of neck, well bodied, good quarters, lovely temperament, free moving and sound, young dog with great promise, very much my type, lost BOB as his handler failed to finish showing him in the challenge!
2nd Mrs Walton – Belstonbell Water Lily with Underknoll
15 month old tri bitch, sweet head, well balanced, just running up a fraction wide in front
3rd Mrs Lewis – Carleeton Her Name is Lola

15 months old, good head, soft expression, nice length of neck, good shoulders, held top line, strong quarters, moved well another not shown to best advantage but he did enough

Nearly 4 years old, a stronger type than one but never the less a lovely dog, just not as settled in his movement

11 month old bitch, another overall nice type, preferred head on first and she was not moving well

13 month old bitch exquisitely pretty head, short muzzle, good halo’s correct bite, nice reach of neck, well bodied for age, excellent quarters, well set tail, moved soundly showing her pads, loved her when she first came in the ring and did not disappoint, took BOB over some lovely dogs.
2nd BP Group Mrs Marshall – Honeyvale Prima Ballerina
8 month old bitch what a joy she was having a ball, a very promising baby, lovely head, well made throughout, moved soundly, just slightly less settled in the Group.
3rd Miss Varney – Mavoranne Empress Willow

Little to chose between these three, 3rd lacks the pigment required, the 2nd was not as settled on the move and these are the points that split the placings
Not surprised to see 1 and 2 are litter mates, 23 months old, she is feminine he is most definitely male, all three were sound, very typy and presented beautifully.

Two lovely bitches 4 and 7 years respectively, both set down to perfection, both moved soundly a pleasure to judge, 1st unfortunate to lose BOB to her kennelmate who had already stolen my heart!

Two lovely dogs and so well handled by their young charges but what a shame they were not bathed. Ladies I am sure you don’t go out without washing your hair, so please do your dogs justice, the lack of presentation cost you dearly in the Toy Group!

This beautiful dog belies his 8 years, fabulous head, good length of neck, correct lay of shoulder, well bodied, excellent quarters, so very sound and true in movement, finely furnished. Not surprised to see he was a Champion. He also won a lovely veteran class.
2nd Miss Clark – Amronchi Foxtrot Yankee
Super young dog, very similar type but slightly larger and not the furnishings on the day, I see his is the son of 1st, two super dogs.
