2008 Matches

Xmas Party

Our Xmas Party was held on 16th December and a great time was had by both dogs and handlers. Tables brimming with raffle prizes and food were enjoyed by all, including Tracy's Irish Wolfhound who took a great liking to the Scotch Eggs. Many thanks to Gary Quest for judging for us (like the hat Gary!) and to everyone who came along and took part. See you next year!!

Wiveliscombe Qualifier

Congratulations to Fran Bowman and Angie Pearman who represented us at the Wiveliscombe Supermatch on 10th January. Both did very well with Frans' Cocker Spaniel making it through to the semi-finals. Well done.

On Tuesday 4th November we held our Wiveliscombe Qualifier which was judged by Reena Clark. The Best in Match was Asquanne's Goldstein at Frainaille, Cocker Spaniel and Best Puppy in Match was Hernwood Rose's Little Flirt, Gordon Setter. These go forward to represent Newton Abbot and South Devon Canine Society at the Wiveliscombe Super Match which will be held on 10th January 2009.

Congratulations to everybody who took part, a good time was had by all whether you were a winner on the night or not.

Spring Match

On 15th April we held our Spring Match. The match was judged by Joy Norrish and consisted of a puppy walk, puppy class and open class.
The Best in Match was Tina Quest with Chenrezi Keep the Faith, Tibetan Spaniel and Best Puppy in Match was Lewis Tapp with Humaryn Take a Chance, Labrador.
